Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Lawrence County Inmate Population. If you do not agree to them, do not use this site, its links, or any search feature made available through it.

Lawrence County Inmate Population is privately owned and is not affiliated with Lawrence County, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Lawrence County Jail, ADOC, BOP, ICE, any court, or any corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide consumer reports, background checks, employment screening, tenant screening, credit screening, or insurance screening under the FCRA.

Nature of the Site

This is a private reference site. It does not store official jail rosters, court files, booking records, mugshots, warrants, or custody records, and it cannot confirm custody status, release a person, accept a filing, or act for a government office. Requests for Alabama public records belong with the agency that maintains the record under Alabama Code section 36-12-40 and sections 36-12-43 through 36-12-46.

The site points visitors toward Lawrence County jail and court resources, including the sheriff site, the sheriff inmate-information page, the Lawrence County Circuit Clerk, ADOC, VINELink, BOP, ICE ODLS, and outside research tools.

Allowed Use

  • Do not use the site in a way that violates federal, Alabama, or local law.
  • Do not use information from the site to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
  • Do not use site content to make hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
  • Do not attempt to access accounts, systems, code, or data without permission.
  • Do not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated collection tools against the site.
  • Do not interfere with the site's operation or other visitors' access.

No Consumer Reporting Use

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, criminal background checks, credit reports, or screening services, and its ad partners are not offered through this site for those purposes. By using the site, you agree not to use any information found here or through linked tools for FCRA-covered decisions.

  • Employment hiring, discipline, promotion, or termination.
  • Tenant screening, lease approval, or housing eligibility.
  • Credit, lending, insurance, or premium decisions.
  • Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

No Warranties

The site is provided as is, without promises about:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or current status of information.
  • Uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
  • Freedom from bugs, vulnerabilities, or security issues.
  • The depth, correctness, or usefulness of partner search results.

Custody status, court filings, bond conditions, public-record availability, and office procedures can change quickly. Nothing on this site is an official statement from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, a court, ADOC, BOP, ICE, or any other government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lawrence County Inmate Population and its operators are not liable for damages, losses, or claims arising from use of the site, inability to use the site, reliance on site content, or use of linked resources.

Indemnification

Site Content Ownership

Text, layout, logos, graphics, and code on Lawrence County Inmate Population belong to the site or its content partners unless another owner is identified. You may not copy, distribute, modify, republish, or reuse them without written permission.
